Bin Zheng received his Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology from the University of California San Diego and completed his postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School. He was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Institute for Cancer Genetics at Columbia University and an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Cutaneous Biology Research Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. In August 2023, Dr. Zheng joined the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as the Debra Black Chair of Melanoma Research and Director of Melanoma Research in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Cedars-Sinai Cancer Institute. Dr. Zheng’s research has focused on deciphering the molecular mechanisms of metabolic signaling and communication in tumor microenvironment and translating these basic research findings into personalized targeted and immune therapies.
