Dr. Vivian Chua is a Vice Chancellor's Research Fellow at Edith Cowan University (Western Australia). She had undergone postdoctoral training with focus on uveal melanoma research since 2016 at Thomas Jefferson University under the mentorship of Prof. Andrew Aplin. Dr. Chua's research projects focus on identifying the effects of BAP1 loss in uveal melanoma and uncovering novel and effective strategies for the treatment of metastatic uveal melanoma. Her research interests also include studying the roles of metabolism, nutrients, and diet on liver metastasis, metastatic growth in the liver, and response of liver metastases to therapy.
